I will say this. After what I witnessed against AU, without two of our prominent weapons, and after another week of controversy, is the best overall team in college football right now. Hands down! This team is as deeply talented as I have ever seen and despite the hiccups very focused and well coached. Any Gump that's waking up today and does not believe this is either blind or a fool. CLM has two weeks to prepare for the most epic game in some time, I am sure he has been holding back something special for the Gumps. We will not lose this game. :helmet:
Now wouldnt it be great if OU beat OK ST. That would be two 1 loss teams in the big 12. Yea all the games they picked for upsets were all blowouts. Kansas State, Washington, and LSU. I am starting to question ESPN's college football knowledge. I know that their NFL football knowledge is worst in the country but I college is right up there with that one.
Man ... the pin heads in the media are all about "creating the storyline". Thing's I have heard that have now been debunked: "OU's defense will be what wins the game" ...... oh reeeally?? "Russel Wilson's performance" ..... apparently wasn't quite good enough?? "Quarterback Controversy at LSU" ....... looks more like a cooperative to me!! "LSU needs to get an offense" ..... only a dunce could say such. Of course, their story lines are now going to line up like this: Will LSU's offense be able to score on this Daunting Bama Defense?? Will LSU's defense be able to hold back Bama's Daunting Offense?? Can LSU even tackle TR .. or will he just run like he's shoping in a mall?? Other storylines ... OKie State will all of the sudden be invincible?? Clemson anybody?? Stanford will now be the front runner to face whomever in the BCS CG. My Best Friend up here in Hog Land, of course, bet me $5 that LSU can't beat Bama!!! LOL .. I'm racking my brain trying to think how I'm going to spend his five bucks! Unfortunately for me .. the "formula" has these two teams at a dead tie. Which brings it a "gut feeling". My gut feeling is: LSU beat Bama last year, and IMO, Bama is not as good as they were last year, and LSU is better than they were last year. The break point is 20. Bama will be under 20 .. LSU will be over 20! :geaux:

It's amazing, LSU is #1 and will go to Tuscaloosa with a chip on its shoulder. Why, because we are constantly questioned. We get the "LSU is very talented, buuuuuuut..." Bama gets..."This team is very talented and will not lose." No questions asked. It's Saban worship. Saban is an excellent coach but has his weaknesses also. So, I plan to raise a victory glass after the game. The guys on gameday are fond of saying "Closer than the experts think." I am saying the following about this team..."Not as close as the experts think" in LSU's favor.
