Can't stand the post-big game atmosphere on the internet. The fans digging back and forth really ticks me off. Really corrupts the whole idea of sportsmanship.

That being said, I am proud to be a Tiger and proud of how our coaches (in every sport) and player represented LSU. Can't wait for football!

As far as the SEC goes, we're rollin !! basketball, baseball, next...football!
Too bad the football season isn't in the same year as the other two. So I guess we'll just have to win baseball and basketball conference championships again.

Can anyone think of some summer offseason sports we should have right now to carry over into football?

Personally, I'd like boxing... like in the old days. Especially since it's not on TV for free anymore. An SEC golden gloves type tourney would have TV revenue all over it and it's an olympic sport. How exciting would LSU vs Bama be? It couldn't be too expensive to put on... being an individual sport, and we could have the Golden Girls announcing the rounds. It might not be regulated by the NCAA so acadeemic standards may not be such an issue. It could be a good revenue producing club sport.

As a fan of the sweet science, I'd be all over it :hihi:.

Yeah, I don't get this "now we wait..." mentality at all. Wait for what? That is just laughable to me. In basketball, we just won the SEC Championship and we were the only team in the NCAA Tournament that gave the eventual Champs UNC a run for their money. Then, in baseball, we just had a team which can be easily be considered the greatest baseball team in at least LSU history, a team that gave us an astonishing ride for the last two years (my favorite moment, along with beating the living crap out of super-juggernaut Texas in Game 3 of the CWS, was that comeback our current guys had last year against UC-Irvine in the Super Regional--that was BEYOND BELIEVEABLE!!!

To you guys that don't follow LSU sports other than football: YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON LIFE BIG TIME!!!!!!!!! As for myself, I'm riding high!!!!! Winning back to back Conference Championships in the Big 3 sports is EXTREMELY RARE FOR ANY NCAA TEAM TO DO IN HISTORY!!! I am loving soaking up every minute, every day, and every month of this rare, blessed time!!!!

But yeah, to you football-only people: I'm hoping and dreaming that our football team can win the SEC Championship next season... which will give LSU the first sweep of three-in-a-row SEC Championships in the Big 3 sports since Bama did it back in the early 1930's!!!!
