Speaking of the Chinese and not to change the story but: I have to wonder if Obama's policies are accelerating China's role as a super power. I am talking about his spending policies and guttiing the space program as well as the nukes treaty. I think the new race will be between the Soviets and the Chinese. The Chinese have one hell of an army and they aren't cutting back on their military. I don't think the Soviets will either, they aren't going to go along with Obama's treaty because they have the Chinese in their own back yard. Who in their right mind think the Soviets, I call them that because of Putin, actually decrease their weapons with China increasing their arsenals?
And the worlds largest air force, too. But thats all quantity, not quality. And the differences in logistics, intelligence, and professional capability is vast. They simply can't go very far away from China and they are technologically way behind. As it is they are a much bigger military threat to the Russians than to us and strategically it helps us if the Russians have to plan for China, too. What we must never let happen is for the Russians and Chinese to unite against us.
