he's already laid two huge turds with ULM and Utah in such short time. cant wait to see what doozies await. LSU hasnt had ones like these since, well, since Nick was here.

 

Utah? Seriously? You do realize they're undefeated and will finish the year in the top ten right? I was as skeptical about them as anyone but they played a great game against bama.

Now ULM is a different story. That's totally inexcusable, just as Troy would have been.

People were pissed because the co DC thing was not working and Lee was setting carrer records throwing pick 6's. People were calling for a change in DC and giving JJ a chance to play. JJ was given a shot and we now have a shinny new DC now people are happy.

 

I'll get on board with you. I saw two things that night that I hadn't seen all year from Bama: bad tackling and poor line play.

Utah played a great game and they were NOT going to get embarrassed like Hawaii did.

Alabama came out flat, expecting a Hawaii-esque blowout.

The best team THAT NIGHT won...but if they both come to play, Bama is a better team.

Relevant to the thread: Fans are fickle beings. They'll be back to Miles hate the very SECOND the team shows weakness again.

 

So we're back to low expectations. On top of the world cause LSU beat GA Tech in the Peach Bowl. Aren't we the ones that make fun of Big 10 fans when they point out their good records in the lesser bowls against the SEC and then we make fun of them cause they're not BCS bowls?

The future does look bright for LSU football and i'm convinced that this year was an aberration but I wouldn't go as far saying that LSU fans are on top of the world.

BAMA fans are on top of the world cause Tricky Nicky won the recruiting championship and multiple coach of the year awards. :lol:

 

I'm in NC, but it seems the official notifications have been really low key. CLM really has done this at his pace on his watch - he is demonstrating that he is the man in control.
