    Another good stat: 1,866

LSU all-purpose Odell Beckham has racked up 1,866 total yards in 2013. That’s good for second in college football, and he averages over 207 yards per game. Impressively, Beckham averages a whopping 21.2 yards per touch, and that’s good for fourth most in college football.

Would probably be #1 in all of the above if he could haul em all in. He is good for 1 maybe 2 drops a game.

he obviously couldn't step into his throws...stevie wonder could see he had a leg injury. he thought his arm could get it there. get past it.

why the need to constantly belittle the players? i'm willing to bet that if you asked him to his face about "going full retard" he would answer you quickly, decisively, and thoroughly....

I have to admit that I believe this is a pretty bogus stat in my mind and pretty much have dismissed it over the years. If our defense was as good as we all wish it was he wouldn't be in the top 10 because he would have less ko returns and more punt returns.

I'll guess that many of the leaders in this category have a lot of ko returns.

You prove my statement. If this injury was as "CLEAR" as you say, he should have had half the brain to "not make the throw" after the 1st int, 2nd int or even the 3rd int. Mett is VERY lucky Ole Miss didn't pick him off the other two times he hit Ole Miss CB's in the hands in the 2nd half.........

In other news, this is a "message board".

    1009 receiving yards
    33 rush yards
    108 punt return yards
    616 kick return yards
Not included: 109 yards missed FG return for TD

I think the point they were making was that he's a damn good WR who also excels as a returner. The numbers don't lie. He hasn't been great on punts but he's been awesome on kickoffs. He has the highest kick return average of any returner with more than 25 returns this year. Quantity with Quality.

Yeah I agree, and I don't think it's belittling, no one is saying either suck, they are both damn good players, OBJ is a freak of an athlete for his size, Mett is a very talented qb, I just think he's a gunslinger who throws caution to the wind along with a few passes. But yeah I'm with you, I think they both would agree with the criticism dealt out to them. OBJ would say I gotta bring those in an Mett would say I can't throw into double coverage.
