I have no problem with the scope of the executive action Obama issued last night other than the fact that Congress should have gotten off its ass and passed a bill for the president to sign as it did under Reagan and Bush.

Now we are going to have to hear a bunch of crap about lawsuits, impeachment, Monarchy...

    It's already started.....

So much for the Republicans ever getting the hispanic vote. They have had 6 years under Obama and, frankly, about 2-3 years under Bush when the executive branch pushed for immigration reform but the Republican party has vehemently opposed it. The Senate passed a bill just last year with bi-partisan support that the President clearly stated he would sign into law but the House voted it down, if it even came up for a vote. This is long overdue IMO.

Obama is setting up Hillary for 2016 because he owes her and Sir William of Smooth, too. His is risking the political flak because he will never run for public office again, but he does want influence in the democratic party. He will try to expose the republicans for the obstructionists that they are. He will force them to go on the record disregarding the hispanic vote. He will force them to go on record disregarding the things that Americans want in a health care system. He will be the lightning rod to attract the wrath of republican zealots and allow the 2016 democratic candidate time and opportunity to establish her own policy. Classic good cop, bad cop.

At least it carries on in the same tradition as Obamacare. If you want your illegal house cleaner, you can keep your illegal house cleaner.

Liz Warren is way too liberal even for most Dems. I hope she does get the nomination because she would surely lose the election.

Whoever gets the Democratic nomination will win the Presidency. It's practically set in stone. There are 250 electoral votes for Big Blue that have no chance of becoming red. That means the GOP candidate would have to win every red and purple state which isn't going to happen.

At the very least, Warren should run. She would make sure the real issues that need to be discussed will be taken serious for both Democrat and Republican candidates.

She is as left as they get. She would not win the presidency if she ran.
