I think they drop to 4,

    LSU
    Okie St.
    Stanford
    Bama
    Boise

But then Stanford loses to Oregon next week and Okie St., with their 111th ranked Defense, loses to OU. The real battle in the rankings, for now, will come down to OU and Bama.

Somebody tell them to use DARK colored crayon to write the letter so that the good folks in the SEC office can read the letters.

yeah, everybody keeps talking about the missed FGs, but it's not like they were gimme's. They were all 45-55 yarders that were missed. LSU could have tried a few at those distances, too, but we chose to punt and pin them down inside the 5. The difference there was in the choice, not necessarily the kicks themselves. To expect a college kicker to hit from that distance is not in your favor statistically, and they were 1 for 4 at long distance. LSUs were all makable FGs, thus we were 3 for 3 overall. The other difference that is not being talked about in those missed FGs is that our defense forced them into those decisions to go for the long FGs. They would get close to the red zone, and then we pushed them back!

The look on their faces even at the half told me everything. They really thought they should have been up 24-0 on LSU at halftime.

Agree on Tusk. I can understand a fan needing to collect his thoughts, lick his wounds before coming here.

Our defense took away the option of going for it- making their Heisman guy a non factor as in not being a viable option.

    First one was a 4th & 7; then 4th & 20 followed by 4th & 17.Here were the plays leading up to each.

4th & 7.....After the big run by Richardson we tackled him for a 5 yard loss. Two plays later McCarron passed to T. Richardson for no gain.

    4th & 20......After Lacy picked up 20 Bama committed a 5 yard penalty so they're in a 1st & 15. E. Lacy rushed to the left for 6 yard loss

4th & 17.....After Richardson picked up 10 yards, M. Maze was tackled for a 6 yard loss followed by A. McCarron being sacked by S. Montgomery.

At that is what irked me about the bama fans. It's one thing to BELIEVE your team win but they didn't think their team COULD lose.

Reality check mo fo's. Saban's quickly becoming Miles' b1tch. The Bear? He's Dam glad he doesn't have to line up against him.
