My wife and I decided we wanted to experience a football game at LSU. I am a 2000 Virginia Tech graduate and love college football, as does my wife. Last week I put a post on TigerFan about looking for a place to tailgate for the Ole Miss game. Within a matter of hours I was hooked up with LSUtiger327 (Justin) as he invited us to join his tailgate. We arrived at the tailgate a little before 8 am and were immediately accepted into the group of people like we were old friends from High School. Southern Hospitality is absolutely amazing. We were having so much fun at the tailgate that we almost didnt want to go to the actual game. To try sum up a long (great) day, my wife and I wanted to thank Justin and the rest of his friends for providing us with one of the best football days of my our lives. We had as much fun tailgating at LSU as we do when we head back to Blackburg VA to see the Hokies play. Once again, thank you Baton Rouge, you ROCK......
Glad you had a great time. I have a lot of friends and co-workers that sre Tech grads. Congratulations to the Hokies on turning their season around. Rough start, but a great season for you guys, nevertheless.
Glad ya'll enjoyed it!! I love when other people experience Tiger Stadium, they always say how much fun they have. It's very nice to know we still have a reputation for hospitality. And yes you have to experience a night Game.:thumb:
you mean it wasn't even a night game? (oh yeah, he said the Ole Miss game). Dude, you have to come back and experience a night game! no comparison really. may not be good for your marriage though, LOL.
