Keyword: eventually. Until O the Rosy FInch Boyz is Fired, Alleva & F King are Fired. How long will that take?
I'm guessing another 4 years of Rosy. Unless Aranda can pull off a Yuge year. Then add 2 maybe 3 more years for or a potentially competitive/good Coach to be hired & start to repair the damage Rosy will have done. My estimate about 7 years (2024?) until LSU might win 10 or more games again.
Lotion? That's weird. I've lived though Stovall, Archer, Curley, DiNardo. O being the dumbest yet. Sadly, some here might not make it long enough to see LSU become a Top 10 team again. 7 years is a long time. That's IF we hire a Top President, good AD & a real Head Coach.
I totally expect an 8-4 year in 2018, the schedule is brutal. I won't see that as a failure for O depending on how well the team competes. If we're in every game, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. If we get embarrassed on multiple occasions then 8 wins is meaningless, I'll be off the cautiously optimistic fence. To me year 3 is the real test. He's got to bring in a Top 5 recruiting class and 10 wins. It's not just the number of wins but the competitiveness of the Tigers. Some games the ball bounces the wrong way.
Oeaux is Curley in a double-wide Cajun body. Besides I was talking about bad LSU hires. I understand Stovall's hire, sort of. Still should have hired him as an interim. But the others..Curley was took over a losing program with not many SEC caliber players. Oeaux took over a winning program, with a ton of NFL talent. Kicked a field goal on the 1/2 yard line. Can't fix stupid..
