I can't say it's complete incompetence because the whistle was blown really close to the point after the ball was stripped. Watching it on TV it was obvious but on the field it's easy to see how he could have missed it.

    Good point LSU I like!!

I think that if Georgia had spent the week preparing for Arkansas instead of crying about (and actually believing) how that celebration call screwed them, They would have played Arky closer and may have even won !!!

Looks like LSU beat them two games in a row !!!!.

The non call was a bad call. Not gona blame this game on refs. LSU D as great as it played kept UF drives alive with stupid mistakes. The face mask on the td drive was the most costly. We had them stopped.

That was a total "protect the golden boy" whistle. Tebow was still moving and the whistle blew right as sheppard stripped the ball. The officiating was atrocious last night, but that wasn't why we lost that game. SEC officals should be shot in the head, and hung in town squares for the rest of the officiating world can witness their lifeless bodies hanging there, and know they better do their damned job right. Ok maybe not that harsh, but they are clearly the most spineless, and worst officials on the planet.

Once again, that isn't why we lost the game if you are reading this Georgia fans.

why would they want to prepare for Arkansas the week they're playing Tennessee?

should we have prepared for South Carolina leading up to the Florida game?

I won't blame the refs for this game as I believe our QB and OC are to blame for our inability to move the chains and keep our defense off the field.

That being said...I believe the SEC refs are the worst of any sport in any league. We've got it pretty good in the SEC with great fans, great teams, great venues, etc. but for whatever reason our football officiating has royally sucked for years. Unfortunately it never gets any better.

The NFL runs a close second! :dis:
