Despite the Deja Vu feeling of JJ's performance in the Spring Game, I was still feeling better about him after the Cotton Bowl. Then Guilbeau has to go and remind me that JJ only completed 10 passes in that game.

Sorry dude, but go through the thread and you will see that you are the only one who makes an issue of Miles alleged loyalty "problem". Anyway, "hater" is a word popular with the kids so I use it to try and be hip and cool.

Seriously though, its kind of mind blowing for people to still label Miles as a class loyalisty above younger talent, especially after watching numerous freshman play last season.
and history tells us that it doesn't matter which position. Must we forget that Miles went to battle with even Lee and JJ when they were freshman.
Not to mention throwing in the freshman to start your bowl game.

    In closing,
I am not the biggest JJ fan (by a longshot), but I know for a fact that CLM has made the best out of a horrid QB situation. Ryan Perriloux put us in a bind, and the next best thing, that looked like a QB (Zach Lee) took millions to play baseball.

I have no doubt, that if JJ falters under the pressure of CLM elevated expectations, ZM, the guy who "can make all the throws, with "his talents" and the "strongest arm" will definately be the starting QB in Baton Rouge.

Too much is on the line...

He's not crawfishing. He's providing a valuable lesson in reading comprehension to the legion of dumbasses out there.

I really do have to apologize. You're right. There must be some other reason than loyalty that is guiding Coach Miles in his QB decisions.

Here's the reason Dandy Don provided:

"I believe that Les Miles will start Jordan Jefferson because he has started the last two seasons and because he will be a senior."

I'll go with this reason. :yelwink2:

    (1) I give Miles a lot of credit for playing that many freshman last year
    (2) Not sure about that
    (3) Who were the other options? Hatch?
    (4) RP has nothing to do with the current QB situation
