We don't need an offensive guru, we just need a head coach who knows his role and will hire bad asses to do bad ass things without getting in the way. That's it, and that wasn't meddling Miles.
So is being stubborn and also being unwilling to adapt. Even the biggest control freak in the business adapted.
I always felt that Miles started changing after the '07 championship season. Before that he was a coach who instilled an amazing confidence in his players, as well as coaches. He coached to win games. That season ESPN began calling him the Hat and the Mad Hatter for all his crazy gambles. I don't think he appreciated that. It appeared that after that season is when he started trying to do things his way. Much less gambling, much less confidence. Things just went down hill then we had the amazing '11 season. The BCSCG was the nail in the coffin to the team trending downhill.
LOL, Eaux pulled a Miles, who was great in your eyes, and you have the nerve to complain about it. FAIL.
