Almost time for some College Baseball

It is almost time for some College Baseball.
As most already know – three LSU Tiger are picked as pre-season First Team All Americans –
Blake Dean, Anthony Ranaudo and Matty Ott. La Tech’s Devon Dageford (OF) also made the First Team.

Ole Miss Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Rob Reinstetle resigned last week.

(there are also rumors two Ole Miss baseball players have been dismissed from the team, but I can’t find a report on it)

Georgia freshman infielder Chance Veazey was paralyzed from the waist down after a car wreck on Oct. 28.

The Arizona Republic reports the Arizona State Baseball program is under investigation for “lack of institutional control" – the University was notified of the investigation one day before 15 year Baseball Coach Pat Murphy resigned.

ahhhh. another day with weather like today (and yesterday) and i'd agree with the fact that it's almost time.

 

Speaking of baseball, I recieved a Christmas gift today. Its an already seasoned black pot with a removable frying basket inside. Embedded in the lid of the pot is "LSU Baseball, 2009 CWS LSU 11 UT 4 National Champions" Its awesome :thumb: A company in Mamou makes them, number is 337-468-5269 if you are interested. Can't wait to "baptize" it !
