    Correct...Miles may not get all the money he wants for his assistants and their detailed contracts of stability anymore but my money is on never have the chance to fire Miles again before Alleva is out the door. Miles should bring some flowers to his send off.

    The fear from the booster/financial side with Herman is that you make a costly early move to pay $15+ million to get Herman and then a couple of years later that investment is waisted because Texas comes calling. Even if we put a special Texas buyout clause in Herman's contract, Texas can pay it no problem.

    Miles will be forced to fire Cam, but history has show us that won't fix the offense, after 8 yrs and several OC's later, the LSU shit offense will still be on display. About the only way we see Miles shown the door before he coaches out his contract, is if LSU goes 5-7 next season. Won't happen.

    Thats what a contract is for to protect the "hired" person even in uncertainty........besides with all this circus do you think any coach in their right mind would walk in to this volitale situation without asking big money upfront and a large buyout........now back to LSU football folks

    If Texas pays a big buyout then LSU is getting it's money back. I just can't believe you can do all this posturing and leak so much info on a long shot and not have a plan B. Alleva and the BOS look like complete idiots in this thing. How do you back yourself into a corner so publically?

    I doubt seriously Cam goes anywhere. Alleva just played Russian Roulette with Miles and lost. Miles is the boss now.
