Really? I'm buying it. They saw the "Love Miles & Hate Alleva" signs and couldn't stand it if ESPN would disparage them more. Had nothing to do with coaching of the game.

That's the big thing and @bhelmLSU is gonna have to help with this one. The perception now is Miles is basically coaching for his job next year. Which I don't believe to be true, but regardless, what assistant is going to come to LSU next year if Frank gets hired off thinking they could only be here for a season.

 

Not quite understanding it is certain that Les is coach next year
if you are referring to uncertainty of the future well only if I had a crystal ball, its about stability and we have that now

 

Hello. I'm a Michigan Fan who was Originally stopping by to say Hope to see you guys in the Citrus Bowl would be fun....

But Then I saw this Thread and Thought I'd post some words from Experience after reading all the hate.

in 2007 a Man Named Lloyd Carr (Who was later Inducted into the College Football HOF which Les Will be someday too) was forced out as Michigan Head coach he "retired" after a Season In which Michigan was projected to compete for the national title and instead lost to App state and Oregon week 1-2 and went downhill fast going 9-4 .... The year before Michigan Blew a Chance at a National title game by losing to OSU in the Game of the Century #1 vs #2. then USC Blew our wheels off in the rose bowl.... Before that we had a 7-5 year and 10-3, 10-3, 9-3 years.... He Left with a Record of 120-40 over 12 years with 5 Big 10 titles and 1 Split National title.

For the Next 8 years We watched 2 failed Coached Destroy everything that Michigan Football was about and Drag us to our lowest point in 50 years....... Texas Is Currently watching the same thing after Forcing out the Only 8-3 every year Mack Brown.

The Moral of my story is this..... Unless you got a Contract SIgned with Chip Kelly or Jimbo Fisher. your AD did the right thing.... Because you do you really want a Rich Rodriquez or a Charlie Strong..... Or a Brady Hoke Running your Fine Institution Into the ground.... At least Les Miles puts you position to have a Chance every year...

Anyways GL to you guys In the Bowl game whether we play you or not. And GL to you next season. He May be a old dog who doesn't have new tricks but Les Miles will keep you guys in contention to compete with the big boys even if you don't win them all... and Once every Few years those games will go your way and you will be in the Driver Seat of your Conference and into the Playoffs Which is a lot more than 95% of the teams in CFB can say about their Current Situation.....
