    Exactly, they had no other option and punked out because of it. Alleva is a dumbass and worse than Miles. What about Herman, Franklin, Shaw, etc, there were a lot of other options. Better options IMO than Jimbo.

    The media isn't going to say anything. The only reason we're being discussed is because Alleva nutted up for a second before placing tail between legs. Program will have to go to shit before changes are made. Miles also isn't changing anything. No QB will continue, I expect defense to continue to suck. Don't think Fournette will win a heisman. Think our recruiting starts to suffer. Think the program will continue the downward trend.

    Of course, I thought we'd lose to TAMU and I didn't think the players would carry miles on their shoulders.

    I think you are forgetting the absolute hate for LSU out there by the bobble heads. Why do the gumps, ole puss and the media want miles to stay? Because they know we won't be on top with this goofy idiot. Face it guys we are the Georgia of the west. Miles is a nice guy, so is mark richt but what the hell has either of them won in the last 4-5 years? Fucking first loser that's what.

    Like who? The ones that just work there, or the ones that actually LSU alumni and fans? I listen to sports radio in BR every day and I didn't hear 1 of them say he should stay.

    Look for the top assistants to start leaving this sinking ship. Who in the hell is going to come work for Miles? Why do you think he had to settle for Steele?

    Haven't read this thread but just got home from celebrating tonight. Was great to see...

    Alleva lost his financial support the last 2 days when the price of Jimbo got higher and higher, the last counter Sexton made was the last straw. He didn't get this done at the price he promised. I can't see how LSU can extend his contract another year after the 1 yr contract he got this year. He really put LSU at a disadvantage even further than it was before and if Miles comes close to the playoffs in the next year or two that will be quite an accomplishment after all this.

    There is a difference between not being happy with Miles staying and thinking Miles will not make any changes.

    I'd rather be have been fired too. But we are stuck with him. I also happen to believe Miles might have learned something from this experience. He wants to be Bo here, then he better save his own ass and make the needed changes.
