Great list! Only disagreements I have is at:
    WR Eric Martin over Clayton
    C Kevin Mawae
DT Glenn Dorsey over Lavalais..... Dorsey is the best ever IMO at LSU
    S Chris Carrier over Robinson

All are very tough calls, very interesting. There are many names at numerous positions that could be listed as well.

Great list of some of the oldies but goodies. I spent many a Sat. night listing to John Fergason call the games with these players. Lets not forget Ronnie Estay, Steve Cassidy and A.J. Duhe.

Honestly, I thought long and hard on that one. Mawae, Nacho, and Wilkerson would all make a great choices. I think Wilkerson was better than he is given credit for. Eventhough he recieved a lot of accolades.

In my book it's just hard to come by that "Consensus" tag. An "all-time" list should begin with any consesus All Americans and then go from there.

Boo Corey Webster! He was like Pat Sullivan, and I am not referring to that ridiculous Heisman he got.

    Pretty good list going.

Gotta have Mike Anderson at linebacker from the great 69 team. Gotta have Michael Brooks at linebacker, probably early 80's teams and my favorite at linebacker.

And yes, Johnny Robinson should be there. Folks don't remember that Cannon was drafted first overall by the NFL, followed by Robinson at #3 in the first round, beating Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown.

How has no one mentioned Y A Title at QB. I think he is second to Bert Jones, but someone needs to remember him.

Stovall is getting very little love (punter, safety, running back) for a man who finished second in the Heisman.

And you have a defense with no AJ Duhe??

WR Wendell Davis --> led Chicago to trade Willie Gault (who single-handedly beat LSU one year) 2 years after he was drafted.

OL with no Lance Smith?? DL with no Leonard Marshall??

Just bouncing ideas off the top of my head.

Yeah, that could go either way.

That was probably my toughest decision between Mawae or Bradley. I also liked Wilkerson here. Think I changed it 5 or 6 times.

No doubt....list was done before this season, I've been wanting to look at this a little closer for a while now. That will be my first change.

Hummmm, cant have a All Time LSU team w/ Robinson!! ;)
