I was being sarcastic. There were a lot of goons around here who kept saying stupid stuff like, "he only knows like the same 5 plays." Yeah, right. Now we can see what he can do with a running game.
While the running game is helping... look at HIS play alone. He's making smart reads, runs when he needs to and knows when to give up on the routes. It's more than the run game. It's everything to do with he is a QB and is a smart QB... his athleticism doesn't hurt things either.
How about the play where the receiver was expected to be wide open down the middle of the field, it wasn't open and JJ hit his fullback out in the flat for 8 yards? That's the play I love the most. That's the one that will make him a truly great QB at LSU
I agree, but he was doing a lot of those things against arky (looking off a safety), only the whole game was on his shoulders and one-dimensional. He had NO help.
