I didnt vote for Geert. He may have had a nice career after leaving LSU but while at LSU he only had one really good season. I cant see how he will make the all century team. I think Sanders has him beat out as our 3rd best center of all time.
Well I watched them both play and I think Geert could take Sanders to the cleaners. I'd put Lionel Green over Sanders.
Maybe so but if you are judging an all century team based on their contributions to the team, and you should, Sanders has Geert beat by a mile. He was dominating for 3 years and did something that was unheard of back then, rebound like hell AND scored like crazy. Sanders stats have also stood the test of time. He should be a lock IMHO.
