Their LBs are light years ahead of ours. However, our secondary is better. I want to say our D-Line has an edge too, but I haven't watched theirs enough to compare.

IMO ... strength of schedule should be way more important than margin of win.

How many times to you see a really strong team go in against a powder puff .. get a comfy lead, then play the third and fourth teams!! Only Homer teams, like Boise and OU run up the score on a weaker team. It's like, watch us put up basketball scores on these underfunded, less touted teams.

I actually respect CLM, in that he doesn't appear to be in to running up the score. I mean .. look at our KY game ... a lot of the first string didn't play much.

Funny thing, when thos Homer teams play a real team, they usually get beat. OU?? Ohio State?? Texas?? Oregon?? .. all got their butts handed to them when they played a good team.

Too bad we cant replace NSU with ULL and it wouldnt be even close. Considering ULL lost to the #5 team in the country on the road. We should overtake them in the them in the meantime. They havent played MSU and we havent played Arkansas and neither team has played auburn. We would get them if the our game ended in a tie in T Town.

MSU is a :( now, but they were a :D when we faced them. Their loss to AU hurt, but when we beat them, it crushed their spirit. And FU may have been banged up offensively, but there was nothing wrong with their D, other then they sucked.

I forgot about that damn Northwestern State.

Scheduling a non FBS team is horrible on the computer polls.

LSU has an SOS of 18-6 if you don't count the NW State game. Some computer polls disregard a non-fbs game altogether, others give you 0 wins for the opponent and however many losses they have as their W-L record. In this case, we would get credit for 0-2 for NW State. By year's end, it could be 0-7, 0-8.

    Bama's SOS is 20-9.

Doesn't Bama play one of those teams later on?

A geek sports nut I know told me that of Lsu runs the table we would have the best computer score ever based on season projections. So let's let out play out.
