I think he is committing so soon because of the urgency of both schools he is considering. Texas already has 2 DEs and you gotta assume they won't take any more than 3. LSU already has 1 (Brockers) and won't take any more than 2.
Darn, I didn't know he lived on UT's campus - well almost. Thats gonna be a hard sell. Just reverse it - What if Texas was trying to get someone that highly regarded from Glen Oaks high school. Maybe he wants to get away from home.. :geaux:
He is still down to only 3 schools, LSU, Texas and Stanford. In fact, all other schools have been ruled out. Something tells me he might be leaning LSU's way from his remarks. He stated LSU had been a childhood favorite of his, and that his cousin Eric Alexander went there and how it would be nice to "continue the pipeline". My guess is it's down to LSU or Texas. At the very least, we have a decent shot at him.
From an article on scout, it sounds like it is between UT and LSU at this point and Sonny thinks Texas has the slight edge as of now.
Pretty sure Perrilloux committed to them early too... lots of things can change in 10 months. Just remember we have 2 of these :crystal: in 5 years and they have 2 in 35 years.:wave::wave::wave::wave:
