Clearly he's bigger but yeah this is much more about that park and his ability to find the Crawford boxes and baseball smarts. I'm guessing they lose Correa and he slides over into the 6 hole.
Correa is going to arbitration but we have him a few more years with a chance to get a long term deal worked out. Although I’m still concerned about his back. Hasn’t been the same since his injury and back injuries can be a real bitch.
My neighbor told me that as the Astros game was starting last night Bregman got a score update of 10-3 after Nicks 50 yard TD Run from a teammate in the dugout, told his teammate I told you bout that LSU team, got fired up, went out for his 1st at bat and hit solo shot!
Springer was caught on camera during last night's Astros game, talking to Hinch I think, talking about how they were having to keep Bregs updated on the LSU-Miami score so he'd quit checking his phone in the dugout. Something to that effect, anyway.
Astros visit Boston next weekend. Before the game tonight, Bregman and Cora made a friendly wager on the LSU/Miami game. Cora before Sunday's game during BP will be donning a Warren Morris jersey. Of course Cora was the second baseman lying face down on the ground in total disbelief after Morris did the unthinkable. Had LSU lost Bregman would have had to wear the turnover chain.
