    That oil well on the north side of the basin bridge near Ramah blew this afternoon and I-10 from 415 to ramah is closed (portions are covered in raw crude), both directions until further notice (probably sunday). Plan your road trips accordingly.

    That's always the way that we go into Baton Rouge from I-49 North. You hit 190 around Opelousas and don't have to go all the way to Lafayette.

    Besides, my parents live in Watson, so we just take Airline Hwy to Greenwell Springs Road.

    I heard it was closed this AM but didn't know why. Don't need it until Weds anyway when my daughter comes for Thanksgiving from Lafayette.
