South Alabama sells beer at the Mitchell Center, which is their basketball arena. To be totally honest, that's one of the draws for me. Being from Mobile, I have a lot of friends that went there, so someone is always going to a game.

I am not positive, but I think the rule is if your stadium is on campus, you can not sell alcohol. But is you play at an off campus venue it's ok.

When I was there, I'm pretty sure you could get beer at the bowling alley and I think maybe the Pizza Hut, too.

don't believe that is the case. usl sells beer at baseball and basketball games, but not football. football "stadium" is located in between baseball field and cajundome.
the city of lafayette owns the cajundome, not sure about baseball field.

it's strictly up to the rules of the particular campus.

i would guess that for lsu it would be for legal reasons. if someone, who got drunk from beer sold to them in tiger stadium (or the box), killed someone while driving drunk, they would have a multi-million dollar lawsuit slapped on them in a heartbeat.

even tho i dont drink, it wouldnt bother me if it were sold, but i can understand why not if my guess on why is any factor.
