I'm not sure why people get so worked up over minor issues. It's geared toward a certain fan base. It means nothing.

Bamabuzzard, that article was in the Alabama newspaper. Mind you it was written so small I needed glasses to read it and I have 20/20 vision. So, maybe just maybe, Bama thinks LSU is a threat.

OF COURSE most think LSU is a threat! And that is a logical and accurate statement. Just as Alabama is a threat to LSU. And any fan who thinks otherwise about these two teams is an idiot.

Every LSU fan last year that I talked to thought we'd lose. I told them that the year before, in bama, they needed 5 bad calls against us to barely win. This year, the game is in baton rouge..."We're gonna kill them." and we did.

Obviously, Miles still gets no respect. Granted, this is apparently from a Gump paper, but still...Let it go.
I have not heard one single person say that Bama is not an elite team. Geesh, if there is no news, by all means, manufacture some.

I guess it's good to see that some over there are apparently as obsessed with us as some over here are obsessed with them. Either way, can Nov. 5th get here quick enough? Just hope we're both still undefeated then, which we both should be, unless something crazy happens.

Actually there's been plenty amongst the "message board" society(and keep in mind I visit more message boards than just Tidefans and Tigerforums). After we beat Penn St I frequently read "Penn St is in the Big Ten they're not a real test." After we blew out Arkansas it was more of the same. After we beat Florida, granted it was much less, but it was still some of the same of "Florida was overrated anyway." Which by me is fine. It doesn't change the 5-0 record.

Bama is an elite team. If they were ranked #1 I couldn't say it was an overstatement. Any team that beats bama this year will have to play their best football, cause turnovers and have a little luck on their side. The same can be said of lsu. Bama has playmakers on both sides of the ball and is well coached. Lsu may be the only team in college football that can beat bama. For any other team to win aginst bama, bama would have to just about beat themselves.

I think what intrigues me most this year is that the two teams strengths are evenly matched. This years game will be one of the biggest in a very long time.

Of course a lot could change between now and the game.

I've gotta say ....bamma buzzard does keep it real, and I do enjoy a "rational" tide fans perspective on things, he has always been real, not spewing crazy stuff from his mouth, so I for one hopes he stays here and keeps giving us good insights on bama and the ones people know little about.
