I wonder if there's a statistic for what team, while on defense, has had the most field goals missed in a season or all time. I remember the Oregon State game in the 2004 season opener. I remember the Auburn game in I forget the year when (was it Chris Jackson?) their kicker missed several crucial field goals.

It was John Vaughn. Tiger Stadium is where kickers go to die.

In 2003, Billy Bennett missed 3 FG's in UGA's 17-10 loss to LSU. He led the nation in made FGs. Ole Miss' kicker missed 1 or 2 in our 17-14 win as well, and he won the Lou Groza.

If the goal posts don't overlap he would kick it right through the crack
