And the question is for $200. What common mistake does George W. Bush and Homer Simpson, continue to perpetuate on human society?
That statement used in describing ANYTHING about Bama's Greg McElroy is stupid and arrogant. You had a great running game last year, and that still did not open up the passing game very often. You won last year with GREAT defense, special teams, and a VERY physical running game. This year you only have one of those three to start the season. Memo to Bama fan base; next time you win a championship please don't build a statue, make a movie about your coach, make up random number of championships won, and basically declare all other programs completely obsolete, it makes you look stupid and arrogant. People tend to remember things better when they hear something 3 times during a conversation, so to help out with the word association/memory portion of this post; Bama...Stupid...Arrogant.
Would that help explain why LSU nation continues to speak of their new found "running game" and "offensive line" and "defensive line" as if it already happened? OK with me, that's why we dig football. But hardly arrogant or stupid. Optimistic? probably.
That is sooo last season. Come and remind me of this after week 14 in the college football season. I don't dismiss that your might have a good offense, but 13 TD's, really 13. As I said, that is more of a indictment of your defense rather than a compliment to your offense, and as I said I would bet that Saban is looking at it that way too.
So, if the Cowboys don't do anything this year and if Saban has a 2004ish type of season, does he fly to Dallas, say he's not going to be the coach, and then be the coach? Makes me wonder...
It's everything....the statue, the movie....it's freaking comical. Your "pick your poison" in regards to a very average QB was just more of it. BY THE WAY, WHO IS DUMB ENOUGH TO PLAY BAMA AND NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR RUNNING GAME FIRST?
I'm taking it you haven't seen the movie, Yet? If you mean dumb enough not to play the run so therefore lets keep an extra man in the box and otherwise crowd the line of scrimmage, that's what I'm talking about. Pick your poison. It's not ancient LSU history, so I'm surprised that you have such little appreciation for excellent field generals. You happened to enjoy a couple of that caliber all the way to two NC titles. Football IQ, leadership qualities, the ability not to beat yourself, has nothing in common with average. It's not a knock, but you would know this, if you would just go see "The Gamechanger."
+ 1 like it or not the gumps are the defending champs. they have the best coach in cfb and will be a quality team this year. why shouldn't their fans be optimistic? kcal now goes and throws up repeatedly then forces toothpicks under fingernails
