(Its all an Alabama ploy to lull their opponents into a false sense of security. Pass it along but dont' tell anyone. Got it? )
Shh don't point that out. We don't want to educate the Gumps on reading and writing, they may actually start to understand the play book. :thumb:
Only you would find a silver lining in a D that gave up 13 TD's to an O. Granted it was a scrimmage, but 13, really 13 TD's. Do you think that Saban is even a little bit pleased with this. As much as he could be excited about the O play, I would bank on that excitement is being overshadowed by how horrible the D played. It is hard to get excited about your O scoring 13 TD's against your D, especially when you are considered to be one of the best D minded coaches in college football. It isn't so much as a indication that you have a good O, but more of an indication that your D has some serious issues.
We are the consensus, nationally ranked, number one team in the nation. What, you don't believe what you read? I try to stay out of meltdown mode. Less stressful and besides the talent and coaching you mentioned will continue to make the necessary adjustments. Your point about the offense shouldn't be too quickly dismissed. This offense can be nuclear. The fact all the attention was centered around the pass, isn't a statement about our balance this season, just that picking your poison this year will be particularly lethal.
A thread about the national and, perhaps international, effects of a college scrimmage game... how uniquely interesting!! On a rainy day, not so many days ago, I wanted to take an afternoon nap, so I watched the Michigan spring game on the Big Ten Network to assure my slumber. I think their offense scored on damn near every play. It looked like the defense was playing tag football. I thought... is this the greatest offense of all time? So now I think Michigan should practice against Bama, say first team to 100 gets a computer-farked picture of Bo kissing the Bear??
