no, but they are not achieving as well as they should or as predicted. they have lost games recently they shouldn't have. they started #1, and may be #10 after this week. look, UNC is a basketball school, and always will be. they have precedence, and long-term recruiting that they can just keep plugging holes and move on. despite that, they have some ups and downs, and I would say, on whole, Roy Williams underachieves for his talent level. but, it's not easy to keep re-developing teams each year w/new players. CJJ is in his third year, and is trying to build the talent level to compete on a consistent basis. He may be the worst coach, or the best coach, I don't know. But, what I do know is that he is LSUs coach, and I support him until it is clear that he is not good enough. Right now, he has won more games than any other coach at this point in their tenure, and he just had a top recruiting class. Each time we don't achieve expectation, i.e. a loss, I don't want to call him out. I would rather assume that he can build a team over time, and if he has more players in his system over time, hopefully the wins, and the NCAA appearances follow. In the interim, I will continue to follow and support.
im not making excuses or looking to bash anyone. but some of you seem continually depressed. its sports. cheer the fuck up on occasion. this is a football then baseball school. our tradition in basketball started in the 80s and ended there.
