Grimes and Bradley Dale should be replaced.

Exactly how do you 'position' O line? When they're minting gold and you're minting crap the results won't change. Scheme, technique, or Jesus is not going to change any of that. Let's get off the 'we have so much talent' delusion train. Watch replay of o line vs their front. If we looked 'talented' to you , pass me that there doobie you smoking.

For once I agree with your post! I think that LSU has had some talent through the years on the OL, only problem is they've under performed the last few years outside of the '11 team. So that is on OL coaching when several of those guys go on to productive LSU careers.

Has any other team scored on Bama? Are those teams stacked at OL? Yes and no are the answers to these enduring questions. A better passing game would have helped; I don't remember seeing a quick slant or much else to get the ball out of Etling's hands quickly. Etling was rattled; we ran many times when it was obvious we should have checked out.

Our offensive play calling was meh, we were out of synch all game, we didn't use Fournette like we should have. Doesn't look like Ensminger was up to the challenge, Etling was psyched out from geaux, I'm cool with piling on our OL play, Eaux gets a knock on this one, and let's not forget that Saban is a great defensive mind with all kinds of talent to work with.

You can tweak an offense, but how do you reinvent the wheel in midstream? Always a point where you have to live with who you are. We ran spread concepts for years, there is a good reason we didn't go all in until we had a Jalen Hurts. Why would you spread it out in emulation of ole miss without a Chad Kelly? Best to decide what you are, get the brain trust to run it and then recruit the position. And the same holds true for defensive identity.

Don't disagree, I really don't want to go spread anyhow. I just don't think we executed our game plan last night. Lots of credit to Bama, good game boys.

Neither did we. I'd just rather blame it on the LSU, Jimmy's and Joe's that will be all over the NFL draft in a few months. Hats off to a very talented and motivated Tigers team.

Y'all had a freshman QB and Kiffy isn't all he's cracked up to be. No doubt your defense deserves a lot of accolades, they are some badasses for sure. Shut down Fournette AGAIN. :(
