Watching film of last years game the lsu dline with nevis, livingston ken adams and lavar edwards did a very good job for the most part of handling the 2 headed monster of ingrum and trent richardson. this year as i look at chance warmack dj fluker and barrett jones etc(all 1st round picks), i cant help but fear the straight ahead explosiveness of the bama power run game! this team went through some very good dlines in ark and florida like they were high school teams! the tide has no "hangover" issues like last year which i believe had an effect on their ability to play with intensity! this year they appear to have no weaknesses! the defense plays with great understanding of their scheme and are always in the right place to make plays and aj mccarron is playing like a seasoned veteran. after watching jordan against kentucky i was reminded once again what a big threat he is when he runs as he is 235 with 4.4 40 speed! our only chance to beat alabama is to control the ball on offense and that means jordan will have to be the starting qb!
How did I know this was going to be yet another pumper post for JJ. :rolleye33: Good thing your luv fest for JJ isn't considered.
I see the original poster is in Vegas. Do you have money on JJ starting so many games, scoring x number of touchdowns? How much you put on him? What odds they give you? I'm curious.
Again, what's with your love fest for Bama?!?! You've got about 50 posts, and probably more than HALF of them is pumping Bama up. As I've stated before, if you're THAT much in love with Bama, and everything our offense does is "not good enough", then high tail it over to the Bama forums. Listening to you is getting old.
Bama did player killer football against UF in the first half and held UF to little or no rushing yards 1st half. However what happened to them in the 3rd Quarter? I think if Brantley had not went down he could have made the game close again. The game does show 1 thing though we are going to need a good passing game for them. I have always been a JL fan butttttt I do believe we are going to need a good game out of both of them to get the W.
OR you could also say Bama appeared to have a weakness to the long ball and therefore the experienced QB with the better arm should start. OR, we could see what the next three weeks bring and then decide. I know the national media is already ramping up LSU/Bama but we have three tough games before then. FOCUS!! Keep your :tigereyen what's next.
Your continued posts and multiple threads on this board all have the same theme – LSU can’t beat Bama without JJ. Maybe or maybe not, but we have some other games to win before we get there. Take a vacation – go sell some golf equipment - just go away and come back the first week in November. ldskule:
