I'm surprised (even by SI standards) they would publish an issue with such a stupid cover comment. *They win their first title since 1992. *They need officiating and fortune to win several games. *They're in a conference with two teams who have each won 2 titles in the last six years. *They won a game against a team who lost their star QB on the first drive of the game. Sounds like a dynasty to me. Maybe because Bama also claimed a recruiting national title and claims national titles only recognized by their fans...maybe SI figured they would beat them to it. :hihi:
I think LSU deserves credit for Alabama's national title. If not for LSU, Alabama doesn't win that title. If the National Media wants to credit Saban with half a title for LSU in 07, which they have done, then LSU deserves half the title for Alabama in 09. If we don't hire Nick Saban, he doesn't win a championship, and doesn't blow up as a coach, and Bama doesn't hire him. So, congrats LSU on half a title.
Actually Bama=Destiny Remember Destiny? She was Mike Price's "girlfriend" before he ever coached a game at bama.
If Sports Illustrated is being offensive, people deserve to know about it. Better solutions are: 1) don't every buy Sports Illustrated again 2) contact Sports Illustrated and let them know you aren't happy with their product. I wouldn't mention the part about you being an LSU fan, because SI will just think you are biased. Write them like you are a neutral sports fan but you still think their Bama love is obsessive and irritating.
