Remember, LSU will have seven players on the 85-man roster this season that were redshirt freshmen under Nick. They never played a game for him, but Nick is solely responsible for any success LSU has this season.

And next year? Les will be winning with Nick's strength and conditioning coach, so Nick will still be responsible for LSU's success.

Geez, I hope Bama starts winning again, so they can take some pride in their own accomplishments instead of LSU's!

I'll give you that one for the Auburn game, but we both played AZ on the road that year.

Where do Bama fans get this delusional, self-absorbed idea that we LSU fans are somehow trying to manufacture a rivalry (other than a normal SEC rivalry)? As if they're that relevant on the national scene. As far as I'm concerned, they aren't competitive enough to be considered a huge rival.

LSU and Auburn have owned BAMA this decade that they're not considered rivals anymore, though I hear that Ole Piss is building a great rivalry with BAMA on who's gonna dominate the bottom of the SEC West for the next 5 years.

Since the 1997 season, Alabama is 3-8 vs. Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU. Bama can claim all three of us as rivals, but normally a rivalry is competitive. But, since 1997, Alabama is 6-5 vs. Mississippi State -- now that sounds like a rivalry on the level of LSU vs. Auburn or LSU vs. Florida (we are 5-6 against both of them since 1997). Since 1997, only Arkansas and Ole Miss have been as competitive with us (we are 7-4 against both). Like I said above, we have been 8-3 vs Bama since 1997. We are 10-1 vs Miss State since 1997.
