The question was "have you played anyone with a winning record?" Boasting about Bama only highlights why you evade the answer to this. Bama overconfidence will be a factor in this game.
Plus Tusk... I asked you earlier in the week in another thread how many 1st and 2nd year players you guys have starting, and you said quite a few. None of these players have ever played in Tiger Stadium. I'm sure alot of them have been there on recruiting trips, but none have played there, including your quarterback.
You mean you wouldn't mind having Patterson. Hunter is the biggest bust of the season. Tennessee was jacked to play and has a dynamic O. No match for the power, speed and precision play calling going on in Tideville.
Tennessee sucks. Period. But if it makes you feel better about your "dominating" season, continue to tell us how jacked and stacked Tennessee was.
Tennessee doesn't have a dynamic O. That's just shit ESPN people say so idiots will tune in for a boring ass game. Just because they put up alot of points on a clearly over rated Georgia defense doesn't mean they have a dynamic O.
Bama see's what I see and you see. The offenses are not even close in production. And ultimately, it will be the difference in the game. Bama has not played one game this year where it tried to grind it out. Stack the box, I dare you. Bama will.
If you had a natural rival, I would tell you the significance of that, but you don't, so I won't. Tennessee has the best O-line and best receivers we have played. The talking heads were hoping our d-backs would be over matched. They were not. I have tried to let TigerLand know on numerous occasions that our d-backs are the strength of our defense. We now have 15 picks for the season. Throw if you must, but Tennessee found out very quickly, you will be left wanting.
Is there anyone under the age of 50 that truly sees Tennessee as a "natural rival" of yours? Rivalries mean nothing when one member of said rivalry is a perennial also-ran. LSU "had" some natural rivalries in Tulane and Ole Miss, but they have sucked for so long that the only rivalry is in the minds of the old-timers--certainly not in the minds of the 18-22 year-old boys that are playing for the respective teams. We have a natural rivalry with A & M, too. It'll be a good one. If Tennessee has the best o-line and receivers you have played, then that speaks volumes of your weak schedule. You should hope that doesn't bite your team in the ass against us--or Mississippi State, for that matter. We don't pass that well, as it is, so I imagine we'll be running for the most part, anyway.
Well, I just realized it is that time of year again. You guys have a bye week so you can start making all your predictions now, while Bama fans will wait till after Miss State. I'll say this. It will be a good, hard fought game. Also since I am a Bama fan I might as well add my two cents on where they are/how good I think they are. This team is determined to win. Every week they take it as one game that means nothing by winning. Going to Death Valley at night will not affect them. They're an almost complete team. We've seen some leaks on special teams the past two games, but whatever. LSU is....... on offense, but show promise when they decide to. Defense is very good. It will be a battle. Being in your stadium at night, for this Alabama team? It won't affect them much, that's all I'll say.
