LSU has a HUGE advantage of a bye week. While Bama has to play against a solid Miss St team. LSU will be able to heal up a bit. Plus have time to put together a good gameplan. I doubted LSU would beat S Carolina considering how each team looked the previous week. LSU came to play. I just have a feeling the electric atmosphere and extra time will help LSU. The players really want this game. I think the focus will be there. I think the OL will come out on fire. I think the first few drives will be key. If LSU starts well early I like our chances. We have to set a good tempo on O early. Mett must step up big. I think LSU somehow pulls it out in a great game.
I have no idea how the game will play out and will not predict a win or lose. However, I will be there and expect that I will have no voice on Sunday. The atmosphere in Death Valley for SC was the way it should be, and I hope to see that atmosphere X10 on Nov 3.
I have a sneaky feeling that it will be. As long as LSU shows that they're in it to win it, the crowd will too. They should be especially hot for this game.
We are beating down all comers by 32 points a game. That is one way. There are many hints to a different type of domination this year. AJ is absolutely controlling the line of scrimmage. His reads are Peyton Manning like. We throw when we want to, regardless of down and distance. We run down hill, even when teams are stacking the box and making them like it. Our receivers are fast and creating mismatches. not just taking advantage of blown coverages. Eye test says that this team will not beat themselves, or panic. They be good.
Sounds like you're describing LSU's 2011 team, and we all know how that ended up for us. May we ruin your "dominating" season, like you did for ours a year ago. But you don't have the benefit of a do-over this year.
They made a ton of mistakes last night that Tennessee couldn't capitalize on because Tennessee is f'n sorry. I'm sorry but I'd take our qb over Tyler Bray, that dude is a turnover machine. I wouldn't mind having Justin Hunter though.
1. Alabama is not invincible. Even the finest teams takes losses, just look at LSU last year. In the last 3 years Bama has averaged a loss per year. In the Saban era they have averaged 2.4 losses per year. 2. LSU is not a weakling. LSU is, has been, and will remain the one team on the Bama schedule that challenges their lofty ranking. We know it. They know it. 3. The game is at our place. It is hard to win on the road against the SEC top-tier. Florida gets to play their biggest challengers at home. So does LSU. There is no place like home.
