Are you serious? How long have you been following LSU football? How about recently on the DL, Al Jones and Marlon Favorite were expected to earn playing time by many but took a RS. How about Jamarcus Russell many said he was a lock to start his freshman season and many said the same about perrilloux this year. Every year there are many players that many people think are a lock to play but don't if you don't know that you haven't been paying attention.
Are you serious? Al Jones? He came into a stacked position at DE, don't see who would've said he was going to play right away. Favorite's freshman year he was behind Wroten, Williams, and Dorsey. JR over Mauck? RP over JR? Pipe dreams. One guy has seen any decent sort of playing time at DT on the LSU roster and Woods is a special player. I'd put the odds of him redshirting at 10%.
