McCoy is awesome. Great technique. Al is a beast and will be unstoppable once he is introduced to a weight room and great coaching.

Hard to really say. I mean, we have Glen Dorsey, Marlon Favorite, Tim Washington and Carnell Stewart returning and if RJF is "beefed up" like some reports are saying, he could get a look as well.

We have some depth to allow Woods to redshirt....But if Woods is going to redshirt, IMO, it would have to be because we have 2-3 DT's that are head-and-shoulders better than him at this point. I just don't see it working out like that though.

I think Dorsey and Favorite (and possibly Washington) begin the season as the starters with Woods being "worked in" at some point and his playing time increasing as the season goes along.

In benefits us if Woods redshirts--but ONLY if we have enough top-notch depth.

Bottom line, I think he plays as a true freshman.

Woods will be a run-stuffer just like Norman Hand was at his peak......now he just needs to learn how to do the "Big Wiggle"!

No way player X redshirts. How many thousands of times have I heard that about big time players. We'll see but it wouldn't suprise me either way.

:hihi: Very true. We'd like to believe these guys can come in and play right away as true freshmen, but it doesn't work out that way for very many of them. With Woods, I'd say it's about 50/50.
