Well....the Rivals 100 final list is in and Gerald McCoy has moved to #4 overall in the nation. Al Woods has dropped to #20. Hopefully we can land Gerald!

    :crystal: LSU!

    It's a near consensus.

McCoy was awesome in the Army allstar game, Woods was average at best.

    It's the "Pat Swilling" theory....
He was great when Ricky Jackson was opposite him...drawing the defense. He was no where near as great once on another team. Woods and McCoy are great compliments to each other. I'd like to see them play together and kill an offense! May be a long shot though...:(

I hope so too, but he's a long shot.

It is true that Woods was double teamed more than anyone else on his team...but it is also true that McCoy was clearly the better football player. He was as polished as any HS senior DT has been in a while (he did benefit from the 1 on 1s..but he beat his double teams too). Woods will be great when he learns more technique.

No but when your D-line coach leaves 2 weeks before signing day, and a recruit has been an "OU lean" for a long time, it's pretty clear.....

We'd have to pull a major coupe to land McCoy.

Not to worry....Woods is still a beast!
