What if Al Woods turns out to be a stud. Does that say something about our D Line coaches?

If these are the same position coaches that were with "the chief" at Tennessee, no. In fact the vols have had some of the most dominate D-lineman now playing in the NFL. I would throw in this year's first round pick Dan Williams. Glad he's gone.

it would be very hard to blame them for woods since theyd only been with him for one year.

That's my point. LSU has a good defensive coordinator. Coach Majors of Tennessee has openly said for years, Chavis was the only reason Fulmer kept his job. I read some where that big Dan Williams was the 13th D-lineman from Tennessee to be taken in the NFL draft since 2000. D-line would seem to be in good hands.

Yes, it says that they chose to only coach Glenn Dorsey and Drake Nevis while ignoring Al Woods.

I've always thought Woods was a prototype NFL offensive lineman, too tall for an effective inside defensive tackle. He reminds me of Dan Alexander who was a starting defensive tackle for LSU in the 70's. But the Jets made him an offensive guard and he played for 13 years, never missing a game in his first 12 years.
