-"Widely reported".....how is that different from common knowledge? Plus they had that Asst. Sec. of State in front of Congress saying specifically we wouldn't defend Kuwait. And then we did....sounds like a set-up to me.

-I was under the impression we funded Saddam to contain the Iranian threat. Which leads me to believe our stance vis a vis Iraq was somewhat conciliatory at the time.

exactly. and even so, the answers are obvious. the answers are only not obvious if you refuse the obvious answers, but why would you so incredulous about reality, and credulous about absurdity?

thats the truthers way. they ask the questions, like i said, then refuse the answers. then they phrase a question in such a way as to pretend that an affirmative answer is relevant. like they will ask "do you think the government lies sometimes?". and then the truther acts like this has proved something when you say yes.

the truther thinks they have connected the dots because the truther wants to feel like they see things others cant. they will act like saying "cant you see who stands to benefit?" means they are right.

Don't you find it odd that both the US Ambassador to Iraq and the Asst. Sec. for the Near East said that we will not defend Kuwait and then we immediately turned around and did....that is either an incredibly inept State Department or a set-up. By the way, Bush the Elder was supposed to be a Foreign Policy guy....he wasn't exactly new to the subject.

His weakness was supposed to be domestic policy. Do you still remember the "read my lips" line? Did he tell the truth there? Why does this guy have any credibility with you?

And I'm not saying I can see something others can't. My entire point is there are plenty of others....so called "experts" in the field that suggest that it was a sophisticated ploy by the Bush Admin. to get a toehold in the Middle East. And it worked. We've been there every since.

Isn't it possible they did this on purpose? Why is it so unbelievable to you? Based on what premise do you think it is impossible?

I already wrote what I think happened earlier but I will be happy to oblige again if you will answer me this:

Why do you believe the government? Do you work for the government or something? You always defend the government. I genuinely don't understand it. They almost always make everything worse. The only thing they are really good at is waging war against other countries. I'll admit they are really good at that.

Their track record on everything else is horrific. They ruin the dollar, ruin education, ruin agriculture, will ruin health care, have ruined housing....I'm mean why so much confidence in the government? It's bizarre.

i dont. the question is phrased in a dishonest way.

why are you a child molester?

    no

no i dont. i hate the government and i think they everything terribly. they are religious kooks and wild-eyed liberal communists. i oppose almost everything they do. i love gridlock because it means the government cant do anything, because everything they do is terrible.

i have zero confidence in the government. you are the one believing they have pulled of a magical conspiracy. i believe the government is run by incompetent boobs.

again, all you are doing is asking stupid leading questions. you are exactly the parody i have said you are all along. you are doing exactly what i said you would, exactly what every truther does.

Not a child molester....but I do get upset when people call me sparky.

I don't think the government is incompetent, I think they have bad intentions.

isnt it true that you like children? how do you explain that? isnt it true that you like to spend time with children, even though you are an adult? isnt it true that you have spent time with children with no other adults present? why would you do that? isnt it true tht as an adult you cant really relate to children like equals? and even so, you claim you enjoy their company? why? it all sounds a bit weird to me. i dunno man, alls i am saying is that some things make me wonder...

perhaps you have perfectly reasonable answers. dont care. i will shun them and repeat the questions as if you cannot answer.

Clinton tried to kill him twice with missile strikes, long before 9/11.
