6-3/240 4.8 speed, doesn't sound too slow but I haven't seen him on film and 4.8 isn't great speed for a rush end, that's for sure. on the other hand, most of the major colleges in the country have offered this guy so he must be somewhat of an impact player projection.

If Miami and Free Shoes U. along with Saban offered him a scholarship, he is a player to have

Damn GoldenFlashes....LSU may need to hire you for recruiting purposes. You obviously know a whole lot more than what our recruiters know, including Saban. I hope we can somehow find a way to hire you sometime soon.

    Now you can laugh.

The tale of the tape ... too slow ... definitely a project

260 pounds at about 4.6 ... that's the monster we need at DE to both pass rush and run stop

I used to be like that, always judging recruits and what not, saying, oh, this guy isn't going to pan out. This was the case when I played against Stephen Peterman in high school when he played tight end. I laughed when LSU signed him. I was like, they just made a huge mistake, he's slow, and can't catch. 4 years later he's an all-american and one of the top guards in the nation, after that I COMPLETELY trust in whatever decision the coaches make, regardless of what I think of the guy. They see things that we, as fans, never see.

Nice post. We as LSU fans have come to learn not to question anything Saban does.
