Bama fans that I have seen on campus always seem to be having a good time. If they take a tiger bait or two they are sitting pretty with free drinks and food and maybe even a TV to watch the other games. I wish that kind of hospitality was returned 2 years ago when I went. I had a group at Bama which was half and half LSU and Bama fans and still couldn't get a water or beer while touring campus. The whole atmosphere was too serious and relatively quiet for the most part. We did however find the Bama group we were meeting with and they were very pleasant and treated us very well. I know there must of been other crews like that on campus but must be a little more difficult to come by. At LSU they are everywhere you turn. Probably 90% of the tailgates have visiting team fans with them enjoying the experience together.
I have never really had an issue going to another campus for a game. I guess if you run around and act crazy then you are likely to be target of unfriendly actions.

No not yet but my good buddy is always trying to get me to go. He and his family go to every game. I suspect I will find myself down there next season in October.
It is usually fun and now that I am older, I know how to avoid the potential trouble areas. We have a camp nearby with some good redfish opportunities. If it looks like you are going, let me know.
