Probably just saber rattling and / or leverage to get $$$ from the Big Whatevertheyarenow: Texas A&M president R. Bowen Loftin isn't backing down from the tough talk about the Aggies getting their $20 million from the conference in total revenue by 2012-13. From the San Antonio Express-News: "Texas A&M deserves to be treated fairly in all that we do," Loftin told about 900 Aggies faithful in the hotel ballroom Saturday. "And I guarantee you we will be treated fairly. Whatever it takes." The school says the first step -- if not given the money -- will be legal action followed by a possible move to the SEC. Commissioner Dan Beebe can't be happy about this surfacing after last week's lovefest in Dallas, but he issued a statement over the weekend reaffirming that Texas A&M would get its money. Now I suppose there's little left to do besides wait and see. Bryce Brown, Suh iPads and a player poll - Big 12 Blog - ESPN
they had their chance, if you ask me. switching to the SEC should not be allowed to be used as a bargaining tool.
They need to get their candy-@sses down to Reliant to play us there every year. We'll outdraw 'em, beat the crap out of 'em, and then outrecruit 'em. Friggin' chickensh*t Aggies. Got your 12th man RIGHT HERE.
Aggies aren't that bad and would fit good in the SEC. Very good fans and following.. They have also gotten better the las few years witht hat new coach of theres..
