Is this where I insert that it is a balmy 69 degrees here on the peninsula of the Bay Area with a massive 27% humidity? The only thing I don't miss about the south is the heat/humidity.

Bite all of us Southerners. In Dallas today, it's currently around 80 degrees, but in a few hours? It's likely to be in the 50's and raining when I go home.

Hopefully I will be able to get down to the Arkansas game over the Thanksgiving holiday but still trying to work out the details.

Florida gets more breezes. They have a lot more wind with the ocean on three sides. They get a wind-chill that we almost never get. The air was just dead last Saturday, like most of the time in the hot Louisiana summer.

Another thing was the purple and gold apparel in the afternoon sunshine. Those purple caps and shirts absorbed a lot of heat. The dark gold was not much better. Those afternoon games in the hot sun should be "Whiteout" games. I know I wear my whites to day games along with the Safari hat. You can really tell the difference.

Gainesville is in Central Florida and doesn't get the benefit of the ocean breezes. Crappy orange and blue attract heat as well. I wore white neutral colors or my LSU white polo for our game.

I saw a friend who was on the east side Saturday. He said they were carrying people out of the stadium all game. The concession stands ran out of ice in the third quarter.
It was hot and I have no problem with people staying under the stands Saturday.

So, you're one of those upper crusters on the Peninsula eh? ;)

Lived in downtown San Carlos for 10 years, but then I realized the East Bay is mo real.

    Just sayin'.

Been here in the Bay for 34 years. Not a fan of the humidity either.
