After the Jordan Jefferson era, how do you manage to have this inept a QB/passing game once again?

    Y'all are nuts. I've been on Miles nuts, not from his hire, but following game 1. But with a strong D and a strong running game, all we need is a passing offense to keep defenses honest. We don't need to be slinging it all over the field. If done correctly this offense can work. Unfortunately, Les isn't doing QB right. This style is the spread killer if done correctly; the spread is a gimmick.

    Lots of empty seats are the one sure thing that will get a coach fired at LSU, it is true. Ask Curley Hallman, John Brady, or Smoke Laval. But LSU sells out football season tickets and has a waiting list. It just filled a new upper deck with skyboxes and club seats and added thousands of new paid parking spaces. Games like Arkansas are annoying, but it will take a lot more losing than Les has done to empty Tiger Stadium.

    Coach Miles will be the LSU football coach for years to come. That's my guess.

    He will have a good chance to win the NC once Saban retires. Not before.

    Not for long. To quote tirk "we watched a replay of the 2011 NC game live last night". More of that shit will make people stop showing up IMHO.

    Miles should not be fired. He does not have to worry about that. However I truly feel it is a matter of time before things get to where either he steps down or is let go. He is too damn stubborn to make personnel changes when they are due. His coaching up of kids and that culture are gone. LSU does not show much improvement like in years past. Miles has become a joke as a coach. There is no excuse for the way LSU looks right now. The team has no focus or fire. That is not LSU football. LSU football is about swagger and knowing we are good.

    I think Miles and LSU both need a change of scenery.

    Is there a difference in the football world of fired and stepping down. For instance muschamp was said to be fired now is "stepping down". Sounds essentially to be the same to me.
