After the Jordan Jefferson era, how do you manage to have this inept a QB/passing game once again?

Remember 2008? If he was going to get fired, that would've been the time to do it. Then we went on to have some amazing seasons after that, including a perfect 2011 regular season.

Everyone should know Les has no chance to be fired. Even if we wanted to LSU doesn't have the money despite what you hear. It's time however he starts sleeping on the sofa.

It's wrapped up in Miles Quote about how he thinks the "running QB" is the future. Thus, he runs off two guys and sits the bench for another guy who can actually make reads and pass the ball ..... just because Jennings came in a year ago and lucked up on a bomb to dural. Put on top of that ... LSU doesn't even have a middle of the field pass playbook.

Well .... last night, it was shown that a mediocre passing QB is greater than a running QB.

So ... there I am in a living room full of Razorback Fans [that tends to happen here in AR], me and the fam decked out in our LSU garb, listening to them dog Allen and Beilama. My only response was ... hey, you could have Jennings and Miles. Just look how well that is working out for LSU. I called this weeks ago when you did the poll of how many SEC games LSU wins.

    Time for Miles to go.

There have been signs for the last two years while recruiting has dropped, no good prospect like a quarterback wants to come to LSU when Miles will not even think about playing them even when the score is so bad there is no recovery and it will only get worse. The obvious bad coaching decisions during games any prospect see that happening and does not want to be part of it. You can't blame an offense or defensive coach they all work for the head coach and he can't manage his own job. Miles was blessed at the beginning when LSU had a good reputation but gradually he has destroyed that reputation and dragged us down.

Les Miles' inability to handle the QB position and the offense is going to be (if not already) his undoing. There were cracks in the Leslie foundation before. They are growing larger and larger by the week. His supporters are dropping and can no longer defend his approach. It's not THAT he is losing games, it is HOW he is losing games. I just can't get behind that kind of blind stubbornness any more. I love his crazy antics, I love his loyalty to his team and I love his fatherly approach with his players. I just don't think he is a dynamic coach who is going to adapt, innovate and stay out in front. A consistent 2-3 loss "also ran" team is what he is going to put on the field. His ceiling is clearly defined. Miles is a 10 win / 3 loss coach (including post season). He is going to finish around second or third in the division and LSU will play in Texas, Florida or Atlanta for a bowl game. That's the Les Miles coaching experience that we have seen over 10 years and it's probably what you can expect based on the historical averages. The numbers would suggest that Miles peaked in 2011. The trend is not looking to good from there ...

LSU are the Miami hurricanes and Texas Longhorns of the SEC. Top classes year in and out but always underachieve and there's only one common denominator in this equation and that's Les Miles. I can not see how any sane qb or wide reciever would want to come play here. We get the top recruits at those positions because usually they are Louisiana boys already and loved LSU as a kid. Miles needs to relinquish his emphasis on play calling or get the fuck out of town

LSU puts as many kids in the NFL as anyone and then some. Thats why kids come here. Very few play for just the school anymore.
