After the Jordan Jefferson era, how do you manage to have this inept a QB/passing game once again?

I still think we see Harris next year. He's still young and he should be ready after the off season.

    Harris should be playing now.

What makes you think so. Most predicted he would be the starter by this time and he can't even get a garbage time snap. AJ will be the starter next year.

Harris took off his jacket and warmed up twice but never saw the field

If Harris isn't better than Jennings lsu is really in a bind. I'd like to see so I know what to expect the next three seasons. Recent History tells me not to get my hopes up.

For anybody who needs to know what we have in Harris, go back and replay the New Mexico State game.

The two extremes of the offense this season. One QB drives you to 7 straight touchdowns, the other does not lead you to any points for an entire 60 minutes.

    What good would it do??

In order for Harris to make a difference, you have to call pass plays. ... that means some other pass play than the 10-out, bomb and bubble screen.

Where are the tight ends? Did yall see that block-release tight end pass to the X QB last night at AR?? .. why can't we run plays like that?? They threw to two tight ends ... mostly because their wide outs suck, but hey, the wide outs are still out running routs which takes up defenders..

AND .. We can't run screens like other schools because the defense never loosens up!! Our tight ends are staying home, and Jennings only can pass to one receiver ... Dural [occassionally he has a bain fart and accidently throws the ball to Dupre]. The oppossing LBS stay home in a zone waiting for the draw play, so they are already in position to shut down a screen.

Even if you kept Jennings in, we need to diversify our pass game. This is not to say that we need to be a Big 12 pass attack ... we just need some good staple, cross the middle routes, using the tight ends and receivers to make the opponent respect the pass. [Oh .. and we need a QB that can read pass the first read before he tucks and runs].

    I just
I have no confidence that Miles will use Harris's passing strength. If you are going to hand the ball off every play, Jennings, Harris, or even the burger flipper down the street will be just fine.

Harris could be a savior ... provided that the play calling picks up.
