Re: After the Draft I've said it before and I think some of you would agree, Perrilloux is probably the single most talented QB we have ever had. Prototype size, very athletic, and of course a lightning quick release and a very strong arm. Thanks for the SEC Championship. Could have done a lot more if he didn't act like an idiot.
Re: After the Draft Also the rest of the UDFA's from LSU from houtiger's link: Rahim Alem to Bengals Danny McCray to Cowboys Charles Alexander to Eagles Chris Hawkins to Jags Richard Dickson to Lions Keiland Williams to Redskins Harry Coleman to Saints
2010 LSU Undrafted Free Agents Didn't see this posted anywhere (although it was alluded to in a link found in another thread). Here is a list of LSU undrafted free agents and where they have signed. Richard Dickson-Detroit Danny McCray- Cowboys Rahim Alem-Bengals Charles Alexander-Philly Chris Hawkins- Jacksonville Jacob Cutrera- Jacksonville Keiland Williams-Washington Harry Coleman-Saints 2010 NFL Undrafted Free Agents I also heard Ciron Black to Steelers, but couldn't find it anywhere. It also says WR Chris Mitchell to Saints (tryout).
Re: After the Draft The further Perrilloux is from the 'Hood, the better his NFL prospects. Minnesota is just what the doctor ordered. Swedes, Lutherans, bratwurst . . . the Prairie Homeboy Companion.
Re: After the Draft I get it, but who is changing who? Love those Scandinavians and Minnesota is a "cool" state. But even they'll figure out when you're in a room with a skunk, who comes out smelling like who.
Re: After the Draft That's not the book on Perilloux. It was his off-campus shenanigans with his thug brother and high-school homies from down the river, out to max their gangsta street cred, that was his issue. He was not a problem in practice nor in school until he started cutting classes after his bowl-game triumph and flunking drug tests. He just did not have the awareness that he was risking a potential multi-million dollar career by running with these street hoods and getting into trouble. He knows now.
Re: After the Draft I have a firm conviction that Les Miles and friends spent endless hours driving those very points home. You say "he didn't have awareness he was risking a potential multi-million dollar career." Some people are experts on making themselves the exception to the rule. There isn't any exception, "you show me your friends I'll show you who you are." There is a reason that statement gets many plays, much like "birds of a feather." Minneapolis won't change who this man "seeks out" as friends..The only thing that can change that, is his own convictions. He can hear just fine, he just doesn't listen. He is one of many today that simply feel they can have it all. People with entitlement issues seldom see the need to make hard choices, that's going to cost you something. Players who get it, call what they do a sacrifice. To this point, to me, he honestly looks like he doesn't want to be bothered.
Re: 2010 LSU Undrafted Free Agents Havent heard anything about Charles Scott.... I guess his shoulder injury is still giving people doubts?
Re: 2010 LSU Undrafted Free Agents Scott was drafted in the 6th round by Philly Black is getting a tryout with the Steelers.
