They renovated it two years ago. Cost about $50 million. Clock malfunctions can happen in any stadium on occasion. And no the Falcons are not at home. I'm not opposed to that but it'd have to be an indoor stadium IMO. I saw a replay of the '92 SECCG at Legion Field and it looked freezing. That leaves Houston and New Orleans as other possibilities. I think Houston is too far to get the travel the conference would want. But a NO/ATL rotation seems reasonable.
I don't have much of an issue with the Georgia Dome hosting the game. Although three of our five games have been against the Bulldogs (they've been four times in 20 years) it's usually not a home game. I have a huge problem with Hoover hosting the baseball tournament. It's a home game and home crowd for the gumps and they get the best seats. Unlike football, the baseball tournament is open to a lot of teams...not just the division winners. Alabama sneaks in then gets home field advantage. That's BS and the reason I won't visit in Bubbaland! Rotate baseball like they do in basketball. Birmingham is just taking care of their own again just like the dumbass Birmingham Bowl. Congrats on your football season. You're going to...ugh...ugh...ugh...Birmingham.
Although aTm won't sniff ythe championship for sometime it would be wise. To build up interest in texas too many recruits not to have the game in texas
