No. This was a devastating, debilitating "performance" that saps any hope or prospects for the entire season. It a long time until this year is over, and we have to deal with this miserable spectre from here on. Yes, we will play some patsy's and yes, a few will begin to think we are on our way, but then, crush. It is inevitable. The final interception may well be the signature event of the year. Watching bits and pieces of other games and other summaries last night, the announcers, regardless of channel, or game, were consistently unanimous on two things. 1) We were told that Les Miles was going to get his offense going. Wrong, we saw the same crap as last year, and the before that, too 2) We were told there was great improvement in Harris. No, once again. These were national level, at least on the surface, unbiased, announcers, not the cynical and disappointed Tiger Forum veterans. Additionally, the glee with which many "telestrated" the terrible interception, diagramming the many places the ball could have been thrown as opposed to where it was thrown, was also quite, shall we say, "telling." To quote BMC Jenkins, at Captain's mast many years ago, when he was asked to speak a few words about the young offender being charged, "Captain, he ain't too shit hot!" There you have it! I know most don't follow Navy football, but they pulled a freaking plebe (freshman) out of the stands yesterday to play QB. Uhmmmm.
Quit listening to those "national level" talking heads. They were right about last night but they were the same ones who slammed LSU for thinking about firing such a swell coach last year. That drumbeat of negative press rallied fans around Miles and gave the administration cold feet. You saw the results yesterday. So screw the talking heads.
To see the product we all seen on the field yesterday, I don't think we were harsh enough to be honest.
Hell NO!!! When you're ass is on the hot seat. You were given the opportunity to still be coach because Aleeva is a dumb ass who botched an opportunity to fire you. Yet you still bring your team ill prepared. No fire under their asses. No focus what so ever. LSU is a quickly sinking ship under Miles.
With all due respect to Jeff Foxworthy: 'IF YOU'RE AT THE JACKSONVILLE STATE GAME TAILGATING WEARING A FOURNETTE JERSEY YELLING 'GO TIGERS' YOU MIGHT BE A DUMB ASS'
PLUS the experience we returned. Just look at what Bama did with a QB we'd never heard the name of yesterday. They ripped USC's asshole. Maybe the most embarrassing loss that program has ever had.
Elmer Fudd is still there only because Jimbo said no. Dirts been shoveled on Les' grave since Bama champ game in '12. It's just about covered and time to walk away.
